I finally took the time to select and edit my shots from when I was in Amsterdam last winter. It's funny for me to feel the exact kind of cold of when I was there when I look at these photos (freezing!)

Lately i'm super interested in black and white photography. Although it does not work great when shooting food, I think it's interesting to see how it turns food into weird shapes and shadows. Anyway, hope you enjoy. xa

Latitude 22N Hong Kong

A while ago, I met with designer and artist couple Julie Progin and Jesse Mc Lin in their studio and porcelain shop based in Chai Wan. The gorgeous blue and mint coloured studio is filled with porcelains created by the duo, inspired by Chinese history with a modern twist and a human touch.

Julie was born and raised in Hong Kong by her Swiss parents before moving around the world to study design. Jesse originally from the US, met Julie in New York where he was studying art and ceramics. There they decided to move to HK to launch Latitude 22N.

If you're around and looking for some amazing, one of a kind porcelains, definitely pay them a visit. Changes are high you'll get an inspirational tour of the workshop and leave with a bag full of new goodies for your home.

Kalapa in Bali

A couple of weeks ago we traveled to Bali. It was a short trip to arrange our wedding in Bali that will be in October next month (so excited!!). We stayed at the beautiful Kalapa resort in Canggu, which literally took my breath away. There are many gorgeous places in Bali, that is true. But I find this place to be more personal and peaceful than most hotel's i've seen on the island. The staff is super friendly and they serve breakfast by choice (Western or Balinese) every morning next to the paddy fields. Nothing but the wind blowing and the sound of a rindik on the background. Heaven.
